Window films typically last for 8 to 15 years, depending on the installation quality and orientation of the glass. Secondary benefits to window films include shatter resistance and UV light reduction, which reduces carpet and furniture fading.
Window film isn’t recommended on single-pane glass larger than 100 square feet or double-pane glass more than 40 square feet.
